Yale Multi-Lock System

All of our composite doors come fully fitted with a full Yale suite as standard. This includes a ‘Secured by Design’ approved Multi-point locking system that is endorsed by the Master Locksmiths Association will satisfy all the leading insurance companies.

The Three point locking systems are made with hardened steel grip hook bolts which provide strength, consistent door compression and low operational forces. The hook bolt also prevents jemmy attacks and spreads compression equally across the door.

Due to the Yale patented ‘S’ drive the grip hook bolts are prevented from being forced back while in operation. In addition to this the stainless steel faceplate provides a high level of corroding resistance which ensures that your secure door stays that way for years to come.

Superior Cylinders

We didn’t stop there we also fit stylish and contemporary Yale handles which have been durability tested to 200,000 cycles and corrosion tested up to 480 hours. Not only do they look and perform but well we ensured that they’re secure. The handles themselves are PAS 24 approved and are fitted with the new ‘British Standard Euro Profile Cylinders’. These high performance 6 pin cylinders have security features which include:

So it’s no surprise to us that these cylinders meet the British standard EN1303:2005 and have Kitemark 532920. Not satisfied with this they were handed over to the people at ‘Security by Design’ who went to task on them and happily gave the cylinders their stamp of approval.

Suited Door Furniture

In order to give you the most attractive and secure door possible all of our optional extras are Yale, which adds that extra touch of style and security. These options include:

Electronic Door Viewer

In case you feel you need that extra bit of security we also offer an Electronic Door Viewer that records a photo of everyone who rings your doorbell. This is especially good for those who feel vulnerable or are concerned about opening the door to strangers but with the rise of distraction burglaries it’s becoming more and more applicable to all homes.

Recent statistics show there are nearly 13,000 distraction burglaries each year in the UK. Distraction burglary is a type of burglary where the offenders ‘method of entry’ is via trick rather than the typical forced entry. The most common guise adopted is that of an official, so it is becoming more and more important than ever to know who exactly is at the door before you open it.

An Innovation In Door Viewer Security

Traditional ‘Spy Holes’ have been available for decades, and whist they serve a valuable purpose, they do suffer from 2 key disadvantages:

With the Yale Electronic Door Viewer, users can see the 2.4” screen from several metres away, and the view displayed is considerably wider than the traditional spy hole.
